We encourage the same person/ facilitator to continue through with their person for the entire Customised Employment process. This process requires relationship building and trust. In the situation where this cannot be done; a handover can take place to another Certified Customised Employment personnel. It will take time for the new CE person to build trust with the person and the family again, however. For this reason, all notes, photos, and files should be added to the Discovery Staging Record as you proceed through CE. The notes must be observational and non-judgemental. If you are concerned from the beginning that you may have constraints, you are encouraged to introduce a second staff member or facilitator from the beginning to reduce setbacks.
